About Sundays Co Home Staging

Hi, I'm Brook. I am a single mom of two and business owner. I didn't get into home staging and design for all the pretty spaces I could create, I started my company because I understand what it is like to not have a home. My passion stems from a troubled childhood, years spent couch hopping and uncertainty. There were days I didn't know where I would rest my head, years spent craving a home that felt out of reach. It was in those times that I developed a deep understanding of the importance of what home really means.

Home staging provided a creative outlet driven by a desire to give others the sense of safety and comfort. I can remember walking through open houses, new builds and vacant properties and picking up on the things that provided comfort. I was able to recognize what about a home made me feel welcome, what about it made me want to stay, and what made me envision a life and a future there. My company is fuelled by a desire to feel safe. It's fuelled by a desire to help others see not just the space a home offers, but the lifestyle it offers. 

Everyone has a checklist when house shopping, and while most of the time not every box gets checked, home staging has the unique ability to show clients that a home doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to give you the warm hug your body needs at the end of a long day. It needs to be a space that evokes connection, fosters growth, and holds memories. A home is more than four walls, it is a retreat. 

In my design I focus heavily on warmth and texture, curating inviting and memorable spaces that paint a picture for potential buyers. A living room that asks you to relax, a kitchen that inspires new recipes and baking with your children, and bedrooms that ask you to rest.
